Patient calls are answered after business hours, nights, and weekends by RingIQ.ai call assistant. Additionally, the AI call assistant answers any patient call during business hours that reaches a busy line or rings out.
The night call assistant has reduced “missed calls” to 3% from the previous 17% experience. The AI agent books appointment requests, handles service calls, and can recognize urgent/ER callers for appropriate action. The AI agent also converted 80% of the appointment requests a level above the regular office results without RingIQ.ai
The AI night call agent can also fill in for unexpected phone coverage issues during office hours.

Pilot Program July 24 – August 3
A) RingIQ Night Call Attendant reduced missed calls to 3% from 17%. The remaining 3% of callers abandoned calls before the RingIQ.ai Call Attendant could pick up the call. Immediate call abandonment was equivalent to 1 call every three days.
B) The AI call attendant booked 80% of missed appointment requests ahead of the 68% of appointment call bookings for the office operators. For the pilot office, this single doctor’s office, there are 12 booked appointments/month from missed calls.
C) The AI call attendant proved its competence by efficiently handling ‘Service Call’ details and writing back CrystalPM tasks for operator follow-up, demonstrating its ability to manage complex tasks.
D) 44% of the AI-answered calls saw immediate abandonment. Six of the seven abandonments are similar to voicemail abandonment during business hours (90%). Only one call saw a hang-up immediately after the AI agent identified itself.
